What we offer

With a combined 50 years experience of the television, radio and digital rights business, and a network of contacts second to none across all aspects of the sports world, Fozmuz specialises in the following areas below.

However, if we cannot directly help, our network of industry contacts means that if we cannot help, we know someone who can.

Fozmuz’s core business revolves around Sport and Media rights. We advise on rights strategy, packaging, tenders, sale or purchase negotiation, contract and publicity. Our extensive network facilitates international distribution.

We have extensive expertise dealing with almost all sports federations, broadcasters and agencies, have concluded hundreds of deals, demonstrating a combined 50 years of experience.

Fozmuz has recently advised on rights deals involving the IOC, FIFA, UEFA, the Premier League, the Six Nations and the Rugby World Cup, amongst others.

Audio visual production is a key element of any exploitation of Event rights. Compelling, cost effective and well produced pictures are essential. Fozmuz works with Sports Federations and Broadcasters to find the best production match based on our extensive contacts in the production industry.

Fozmuz has recently advised the IAAF London 2017 World Athletics Championships on its Host Broadcaster solution, ITN on the development of its Sports Production business, and both the 2017 World Lacrosse Championships and the World Bowls Championships on finding production partners.

Programme Formats and DVDs

We have extensive expertise in developing and selling programme formats and DVDs.

Digital Archive

Developing and Digitising a video archive is a key part of building a sporting legacy, make the content available on a Federation’s website and social media platforms, as well as an opportunity to generate commercial revenue.

Our extensive archive experience includes developing archive exploitation models for the BBC, Football League and the Welsh Rugby Union.

Digital and New Media Exploitation

Rights exploitation is about so much more than the traditional media.

Working with trusted partners, we can develop and implement a New Media strategy for Sports Federations, including developing membership schemes, fantasy games and data capture and exploitation. Our Fozmuz McHale venture has provided statistical analysis on the Ryder Cup for the BBC, and the Open Championships for the R & A.

When planning or bidding for Events, it is crucial that the broadcast rights and host production issues are understood and addressed. Fozmuz works with Federations to ensure media revenue is optimised and costs are minimised, as well as ensuring the best possible exposure for sponsors. We have many years of experience assisting event bids as well as helping remedy the problems created for Events which did not pre-plan.

We deliver negotiation lectures for MBA courses, as well as tailored courses for Corporates. We also offer bespoke negotiation advice and assistance, drawing upon both the academic theory as well as our experience of concluding hundreds of deals.
